Inter Europol Competition secures Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3 Pro/Am podium at Spa
23 August 2026
Inter Europol Competition secured a third-place finish in the LMP3 Pro/Am class at Spa-Francorchamps, with Alex Bukhantsov and George King bringing the #34 Ligier JS P325 home on the podium following a heavily interrupted Michelin Le Mans Cup race.
Starting from pole position, Bukhantsov made a good start before an early Safety Car neutralised the race. Much of the opening part of the race remained under caution, with the #34 maintaining its position at the front of the Pro/Am field.
With around an hour remaining, King took over the #34 following a well-executed pit stop. The race eventually returned to green with around 40 minutes remaining, with King running third in class before another Safety Car period interrupted the action.
Racing resumed with 17 minutes remaining, leaving a short sprint to the chequered flag. King maintained third position to secure an LMP3 Pro/Am podium for Inter Europol Competition.
The #43 Ligier JS P325, driven by Christian Dannemand Jørgensen and Jonathan Woolridge, finished P16 overall following an equally interrupted race.
The result concludes a positive weekend at Spa for the #34 crew, with Bukhantsov having earlier secured his third LMP3 Pro/Am pole position of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup season.

George King-
“Great debut result for us in the Michelin Le Mans Cup! I’m super happy to come away with a podium and the first for the team this season. Alex drove amazingly in every session, and we kept making big steps throughout the week. A stellar stint from Alex put us in a great position, and from there it was about keeping my nose clean and bringing home some silverware! A massive thank you to Alex, Inter Europol Competition and the #34 crew for having me and for a great week. Best of luck to everyone for the rest of the season.”
