Jeremy Clarke Takes Third Pole of the Season with Record-Breaking CTMP Lap

12 July 2026

Inter Europol Competition will start tomorrow’s Chevrolet Grand Prix from LMP2 pole position after Jeremy Clarke delivered a record-breaking qualifying performance at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

The Bronze-rated driver produced a sensational lap of 1:07.904 to secure pole position and set a new LMP2 track record around the fast and demanding Canadian circuit. The result marks Clarke’s third pole position of the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, further highlighting his exceptional one-lap pace.

The 15-minute qualifying session saw Clarke once again rise to the occasion, delivering the lap when it mattered most to put the #43 Inter Europol Competition Oreca at the head of the LMP2 field.

Clarke’s latest pole position continues an impressive run of qualifying performances for both driver and team, reflecting the speed and preparation that has characterised Inter Europol Competition’s 2026 IMSA campaign.

The Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park gets underway on Sunday at 2:05 p.m. local time (8:05 p.m. CEST), with Inter Europol Competition looking to convert its record-breaking qualifying performance into victory.
