Matevos Isaakyan: “Despite it looking sort of bad, I think it went actually quite good. With the first set of tyres we were 16^th and the first Ligier. We decided to not use the second set of tyres for the second part of the qualifying but keep it for the free practice for the evening. To get a better feel for the race. It’s not a bad idea to do this because with a 24 hour race it doesn’t really matter if you start 16^th or 21^st. I would say we made very good progress. In the morning, we lost 8 or 9 second and by the end it was down to 4 seconds. We are moving in the right direction and I hope our trend is going to continue.”

Sascha Fassbender (team manager): “We know we cannot be quicker with the Ligier then the ORECA, but with the length of the race we see ourselves moving up the leader board. From the beginning of the 24 Hours event we work on the race performance and not on getting one simple quick lap. We hope to show a good result at the end of the 24 Hours.
