Inter Europol Competition #43 on LMP2 pole for Rolex 24 At Daytona after standout lap from Jeremy Clarke

22 January 2026

Inter Europol Competition continued its strong IMSA qualifying form at Daytona International Speedway as Jeremy Clarke delivered a standout performance to secure LMP2 pole position for the 2026 Rolex 24 At Daytona.

Clarke set the fastest time in class with a lap of 1:39.952 in the #43 ORECA LMP2, placing the Polish squad at the front of the LMP2 grid for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season opener. The result marks back-to-back IMSA pole positions for Inter Europol Competition and Clarke, following their pole-winning performance at the Petit Le Mans season finale in 2025.

The team’s second entry, the #343 ORECA LMP2, recorded a solid qualifying result, with Georgios Kolovos securing sixth position in class as the team prepares for the challenges of the 24-hour race.

Quote from Jeremy Clarke
“I’m really happy to take pole position here at Daytona. The team put in a huge amount of work during the Roar and practice sessions to dial the car in, and today we were able to deliver the result from all that effort. The wind was picking up as the session went on and I had a few moments of oversteer, especially through Turn 1, so it took a lot of commitment in the high-speed corners to find the right feeling from the car. Starting from pole puts us in a great position heading into the race.”
