Circuit Poznań FIA-CEZ (Poland)

17 June 2014

For the first time this year our team has come to Poland. Of course we wanted to give our best performance on our home soil. Kuba was competing in our freshly rebuilded Formula 3 car. The weather this weekend was very moody and it was really hard to make right tyre choice. In the qualifying Kuba was able to secure the second place. Just before the race it started raining, so the track conditions were not the best. Up until ten minutes before the end the race was fairly eventless. Our driver was in the second place without any danger from the drivers behind him. But then one of them spun and hit the barriers. The marshalls were unable to clear the track so the race was five minutes shortened and ended under the safety car. For Sunday the sky was supposed to be free of clouds and this time the forecast was not mistaken. Both the qualifying and the race Kuba finished as second. “It’s always nice to race here in Poznan. This track is really interesting and i regret that there aren’t more possibilities for me to race here. It felt good to sit behind the wheel before an important race in two weeks in Zandvoort. I gave my best this weekend and met my expectations. I was unable to fight with the driver in front because of the big power difference between our cars.” Said Kuba after the race.
