Unlucky end to a very good ELMS season

22 October 2017

The Inter Europol Competition Team was unlucky in the last race of the European Le Mans Series. The hope was to finish the race and to keep as close to fourth position in the standing as possible. However, just going into the second hour, the #13 LMP3 with Kuba Smiechowski behind the wheel, had no more drive. Smiechowski parked the car and got back to the pitbox.

Kuba Smiechowski: “That was not the way we wanted to end the ELMS season. The team did a great job to prepare the car and I think throughout the whole season we had a good speed. You’re always try to beat the odds or prevent technical problems from happening so you give it everything you have. We will be back next year. A big thanks to all for a good ELMS season.”

Next race: 3 and 4 November, Estoril, VdeV.
