This weekend (8-9 October) the Inter Europol Competition team will chase for more points in the penultimate round of the VdeV at Magny Cours. Kuba Smiechowski is 3,5 points and Hendrik Still 16,5 points behind the leaders. The Graff team leads with 168 points.

This weekend Paul Scheuschner will share the #33 with the Belgian Philippe Bourgois, who raced with Scheuschner at Dijon. Scheuschner is 37.5 points behind the leader and in 5th place in the drivers’ championship.

Kuba Smiechowski: “This is the third race weekend in a row and a demanding time for the team. The team is travelling non-stop and still able to prepare the car perfectly, so huge thanks for that. This weekend I hope to have a good result and go into the final round in Estoril leading the championship. Magny Cours is pretty challenging with high speed chicanes and very slow sections, but I like this track very much.”

Philippe Bourgois: “So happy that I am able to drive again after a long break. It is great to join the Inter Europol team again, this time at Magny Cours. This weekend will be a challenge as the team is showing such a high level of performance and success. I feel responsible to do my very best this weekend. It will be my “double H” weekend: Happy to be driving again and Hungry for success.”
