A beautiful park in the middle of Monza, air temperature at nearly 40 degrees and a powerful sound of engines. That’s the scenery at which the 4-th round of the BOSS GP series took place. And a novelty- our team has a second driver in a Dallara GP2 car. It’s a Danish driver Jens Renstrup.
The free practice gave us actually only one hint: we have to change the settings of the car for the qualifying.
Kuba did a great job and put his car in the third position for the race. Jens was able to secure the eleventh place. Sadly Monza circuit is not the luckiest track for the Pole. He ended his race in the gravel after he had to avoid a collision with a defected car. Jens on the other hand fought his way to the front and ended in the sixth place.
For the second race Jens positioned his car in the third row and Kuba was way back in the last one. Our Danish driver once again showed a very good performance and finished seventh. Kuba was able to find fantastic pace for this race. After a good start he overtook systematically other competitors to find himself on the third place just four laps before the chequered flag. From the second half of the race we were really scared if he will finish the race because he started to lose oil from the gearbox. The last hundred meters he covered with his engine already off and stopped right after the finish line just two second before the nevt driver.
