In the latest FIA-CEZ weekend participated two of our drivers. Jakub Śmiechowski behind the wheel of a Formula 3 and Max Biedermann in a Formula Renault. From the first practice it was clear that Kuba would fight for the top positions. Both him and Max confirmed their good form in the qualifying, placing their cars in the second (Kuba) and sixth (Max) row. In the first race Kuba had a good start and immediately jumped in the third place. He managed to keep this position until the end with a very fast and steady pace. Max also showed a strong performance during the race. He was able to gain a few places and improve his laptime. He also secured the top spot on the podium in his class! Unfortunately the second race wasn’t this satysfying for our team. Kuba after a very good start moved to the second place, but he lost after a drive through penalty for a jumstart. After that he tried very hard to gain as much places as he could. Despite his efforts he finished fifth. Max on the other hand drove once again a great race and finished second in his class. It was a sweet and sour weekend for us but both of our drivers showed that they have the speed to compete for podiums. Its’s time to leave the Czech Republic and regenerate before the next races.
