This was without a doubt the toughest race weekend of this season. The rain was pouring down from the skies, creating not puddles but little lakes on the track. We came here with the biggest number of cars this season. Max Biedermann and David Richert were competing in the FIA-CEZ Championship behind the wheels of our Formula Renaults. Jakub Śmiechowski once again scored a double weekend as he was driving the Formula 3 in FIA-CEZ and the Dallara GP2 in the BOSS GP Championship. Let’s start with the BOSS GP. Kuba showed really good pace on the free practices so we hoped for a good result in the qualifying. We weren’t disappointed. The Polish driver finished third with only two thousends of a second gap to the first row. In both races he was also third, which we consider a good result, because of problems with the gearbox. Thanks to these races he closed a bit the gap to the first place in the general standings. And now to the FIA-CEZ. This was the last round of this series and our drivers had a good chance for podium places in the overall standings, so it was very important to show a good performance. In both races all of our drivers finished on podiums in their classes! The weather was changing all the time. First race was started behind the Safety Car due to the heavy rain and at the end it started to dry up. Kuba was second, Max seventh and David fourteenth. The second race on the other hand began on a dry track but in the middle of the race it started to rain. Once again the Pole was second, Max was able to fight his way up to the fourth place and our Canadian driver after a strong finish was twelfth. All of this rewarded us with the second place at the end of the season in the F3 category for Kuba and also second place for Max in the Formula Renault. Our drivers showed this weekend that they have a true racing spirit and that they always push it to the limit despite the most treacherous conditions we witnessed this season!
