Feeling right at home with the Inter Europol Competition team during the Asian Le Mans Series, Guilherme Oliveira decided to stay for the full European Le Mans Series 2022 season.

The 17-year-old Portuguese driver will join Charles Crews and Nico Pino in the team?s LMP3 #13. James Dayson, Noam Abramczyk and a third driver to be announced next week will share the team?s #14.

Guilherme Oliveira: ?I am excited to join the team for the 2022 ELMS season. It?s a super team with lots of history and I am looking forward to racing in their colours again. We worked very hard together in the Asian Le Mans Series, and the team and I got on very well. We have high expectations, so let?s see how it goes.?

Sascha Fassbender (team manager): ?Guilherme fits really well in the team, and obviously, we are very happy to have him. He showed that he could hold his own even with a difficult car. This year we have many young and talented drivers in the ELMS. They are all taking their first steps into the world of endurance racing and it will be exciting to see what they can do. A warm welcome to Guilherme.?
