8 May 2021

The Polish Inter Europol Competition team is very happy to have two new talented drivers joining the team. The young quick Polish driver Mateusz Kaprzyk joins Julius Adomavicius and Italian Mattia Pasini in the Ligier LMP3 #14.

In the LMP3 #13 young talented Belgian driver Ulysse de Pauw, will team up with his countryman Ugo de Wilde and German Martin Hippe.

Mateusz Kaprzyk “I am glad that after my successful debut in ELMS I get a chance to compete with the leading Polish team. I am convinced that, together with my teammates, we will be able to fight for the podium, and at the same time, together with the entire team, promote Poland on the most famous European race rtacks. ”

Ulysse de Pauw: “I am really happy to join the team for Red Bull Ring and hopefully for the remainder of the season. Doing the ELMS was a clear goal for me this year and I am very happy to be able to join such a competitive line-up! It won’t be easy to jump in the car with very little preparation, but I am sure we will be able to do something good! Big thanks to the whole team for their trust!”

Kuba Smiechowski (team principal): “Of course, I am very happy that I can welcome Ulysse and Mateusz into our team. I think that these two young drivers will be a good fit for us. It makes me proud that more and more Polish drivers are present in the world of motorsport, and they can see the potential that endurance racing is offering.”

Sascha Fassbender (team manager): “As a Polish team, we are very happy to be joined by a

young, talented, and above all Polish driver. Mateusz impressed during his debut in Barcelona, so we are convinced that he will be a good driver for us, and at the same time, thanks to our experience in ELMS and FIA WEC races in the LMP3 and LMP2 classes, he will be able to continue to develop as a driver “.  Fassbender continues: “Obviously, we are equally happy with de Pauw joining us. De Wilde and de Pauw have known each other for years and this young driver pairing combined with the very experienced Hippe is going to be very strong. We believe we have two very strong cars to fight for the title.”
