What the drivers said after the 24H test day
7 June 2019
James Winslow
“It was a positive day, but then being back again on the track is always positive. We tried a few things and went the right way and the wrong way. We collected an awful lot of information and that is exactly what the test day leading into the 24 Hours of le Mans is for.”
Kuba Smiechowski
“For me it was very special to be on this track for the first time. I got more and more into the rhythm of this long track. One thing I did not expect, was that it was so dirty. Actually, that it could be this dirty. But the track is nice and I like it. And it is a lot of fun to drive.”
Nigel Moore
“We were getting some things right and something less right. The team will put in many hours working on the car this week so we will be good for the Wednesday (12 June) free practice. You think you’ll have a lot of space on the nearly 14 km long track to do a clean lap, but then, all of a sudden, there seems to be a lot of traffic.“
