What Alex and Renger said after three days of LMP2 testing:

10 March 2021

Alex Brundle:
“So far, we had a great test and learned a lot about the specs of the new tyres available as well as a lot about the brand new Oreca LMP2 the team has. I am especially impressed by Kuba and his approach, his pace and ability behind the wheel. Of course Renger is Renger. We are feeling very positive for the year ahead and very excited to keep going and keep testing over the next few days.”
Renger van der Zande:
“The last days were the first few days of the new car on track. We used those days to shake the car down and get the feeling of all the systems. It mostly was very practical stuff like dashboard settings, etc. Rafal Pokora, our engineer, knows very well where to look and what the car needs. Today we started with more specifics and details and finding performance. I love being involved in getting the car better and quicker. Slowly but surely, we come to a very good car. Kuba is very fast. And Alex is what you expect. Both are great to work with. We are chipping away.”
