So far, so good.

17 August 2021

After a good test day, the Inter Europol Competition team is on schedule with their preparations for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Alex Brundle, Renger van der Zande, and Kuba Smiechowski contributed to improving the #34 Oreca LMP2 after each of their time in the car.

Renger van der Zande: ?It was a very good test day for us. We did a lot of kilometers in the car, and I think the team is very well prepared. If you see the difference at the beginning of this year at Spa, our very first race with the Oreca 07 LMP2, and where we are now, there is a huge difference. The team has stepped up to the next level, or two or three. I think with the speed we have in the car for the long run, we are very strong.?

Kuba Smiechowski: ?I am happy as we had no issues at all. I did a lot of laps and got the feeling back of driving at this special track. I am looking forward to the practice sessions to improve my performance even more.?

Alex Brundle: ?We started with a good balance of the car. During the day, when the track changed, we were able to take more positive steps. I am delighted with how my teammates performed as well. We are moving upwards and onwards.?

Sascha Fassbender (team manager): ?We collected most of the data we need for the race setup. We are happy with the performance we showed and are looking forward to finetune all details.?
