Léo Roussel joins the Inter Europol Competition Team LMP2

22 March 2019

The Inter Europol Competition team is happy to announce that Léo Roussel (FRA) will join Kuba Smiechowski in their LMP2 in the European Le Mans Series as well as in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Smiechowski and Roussel will be joined by a third driver to be named shortly.

Léo Roussel: “I’m very happy to join the team and come back in ELMS after eight months without driving. I had a warm welcome at Barcelona from all of the team and I would like to say thanks to Kuba (Smiechowski) and the whole team for the opportunity they give me. I’m very hungry to start this new adventure.”

Sascha Fassbender (team manager):“We are pleased to have Léo with us for this year. It’s a pleasure to work with such a professional and generous driver. And his knowledge of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will make a big difference in our understanding of this race. A warm welcome to him.”
