It started with a first place in the European Le Mans Series race at Portimao last year. Then followed the four podium (two first and two second) places in the Asian Le Mans Series in the 2018/2019 season. Then this year, the LMP3 #13 took third at Le Castellet, second at Monza and first at Barcelona. Martin Hippe was on all these podium places with team mate Kuba Smiechowski last year and Nigel Moore this year. Hippe and Moore hope to bring the #13 LMP3 of the Inter Europol Competition team it’s ninth podium finish in a row at Silverstone this coming Saturday (31 August).

Martin Hippe:“After our fantastic victory in Barcelona, I’m very happy to be back in the #13 at my team mate’s home race this coming weekend at Silverstone. Our team of drivers, engineers and mechanics have grown together more and more and finally we reached our full potential at Barcelona. Now it’s time to stay focused and continue to work hard to defend the lead in the championship.”

Nigel Moore: “I am excited to race our #13 at my home circuit this weekend. Hopefully to extend our 14 points championship lead following our Barcelona win.”

Mike Rowe(Engineer #13 LMP3):“After all the hard work to get the car ready for Barcelona to get a win there, it was a fantastic achievement for the whole team and especially the #13 crew. We now hope to build on that at my home race. Of course we aim to be on the podium again.”

The Inter Europol Competition #14 LMP3 will be raced by regulars Paul Scheuschner and Sam Dejonghe. The #34 LMP2 will have Kuba Smiechowski, Adrien Tambay and young Austrian driver Lukas Dunner behind the wheel. The #34 is 16^thin the championship while the #14 is in 14^thplace.
