Inter Europol Competition expands to three entries in the European Le Mans Series; confirm driver lineup
8 December 2023
Inter Europol Competition returns to the European Le Mans Series with an expanded lineup in 2024, fielding two LMP2 Orecas and a single LMP3 Ligier.
#88 LMP3 – Alex Bukhantsov – Pedro Perino – Kai Askey
The #88 LMP3, a new number to the Inter Europol Competition squad, features a familiar face in the return of Kai for what will be his third championship assault with the team.
Kai raced with us in both the Asian Le Mans Series and ELMS this year, proving his undoubted speed and helping the team to fourth in the LMP3 standings after securing two podiums.
Alex is another familiar face, having competed with us in the Asian series last year. He has plenty of Radical and Prototype experience and was P6 overall with us in the UAE doubleheaders.
Pedro meanwhile raced in Italian F4 before moving to Prototype Cup in Germany for his first taste of LMP3. This year, he raced in ELMS for the first time, securing two podium positions en route to sixth in the standings.
#34 LMP2 Clement Novalak – Ollie Gray – TBC
F2 racer Clement tested with us successfully recently in Bahrain and proved quick from the outset despite his limited prototype experience.
He comes from a successful single-seater background where he won the British F3 championship in 2019 before moving to F2 to off the back of third in the FIA Formula 3 championship.
Ollie comes from Formula 4 in the United Arab Emirates and will be making his Prototype debut with us this year in Barcelona, while the final driver has yet to be confirmed.
#43 LMP2 – Vladislav Lomko – Tom Dillmann – Sebastian Alvarez
It’s also an all-new lineup for the #43 Oreca; Vlad may be just 18, but he already has plenty of LMP2 experience from 2023, recording third place this year at Spa Francorchamps.
2022 Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3 champion Tom brings bags of experience to the team and most recently competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar class, while Seb is well known to the team from his extensive prototype experience in IMSA, ELMS and Michelin Le Mans Cup.
Details of the team’s programmes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Michelin Le Mans Cup and Ultimate Cup Series will be confirmed in the coming weeks and months.
