Inter Europol Competition is expanding its race programme for the 2023 season to include the Michelin Le Mans Cup Series and are pleased to confirm the two driver pairings* for the six-round championship with Chris Short and Bryson Morris joining the Polish squad, while James Dayson returns to the team, alongside Daniel Ali.

Chris comes from a background in Radical competition where he has competed since 2018, securing 14 podium positions for his 53 race starts. The British bronze-rated driver is joined by American Bryson Morris who most recently competed in the 24H Series in BMW GT3 machinery. Rated as Silver, he has additional experience in Ligier JS F4s, and like Chris, will be making his LMP3 Michelin Le Mans Cup debut when the season gets underway in Barcelona.

Another racer opening his LMC career in Spain is Daniel Ali, who was expecting to race in the Asian Le Mans Series but was forced to skip the UAE double-header after breaking his arm in the Karting World Finals late last year. The Canadian youngster pairs with James, a familiar face within the team from his European Le Mans Series programme in 2022 and his return to the Asian Le Mans Series this year.

“After five years racing Radicals with success in the UK, I am delighted to be joining Inter Europol Competition for Michelin Le Mans Cup. This will be my first season in the LMP3 and with most of the circuits new to me there will be lots to learn! With Bryson, I am confident that we have a strong driver line-up and I know our expectations are closely aligned. We have a great team and I hope to be challenging for podiums this year. I feel very confident going into this championship, as I am fortunate enough to be racing with Inter Europol Competition alongside my teammate James Dayson. With my time testing with IEC, and knowing James’ and IEC’s successful racing experiences, there is no reason we cannot be competitive in the championship.
