Changed driver line-up for Inter Europol Competition at Dubai

9 February 2022

James Dayson (CAN) will not be able to race in the #13 LMP3 of the Inter Europol Competition team in the first two rounds of the Asian Le Mans Series in Dubai. He will be replaced by local bronze driver Alex Bukhantsov (RUS). Dayson will be back in the car with Nico Pino and Guilherme Oliveira in time to race the last two races in Abu Dhabi.

?

Alex Buhkantsov: ?I hope that James will recover quickly, but I am excited to be here. If you told me last week I was going to race in the Asian Le Mans Series, I wouldn?t have believed it. But here I am. Last weekend I won the Gulf Radical Cup race and this weekend I will race in an LMP3! I am new to this car, but I know the circuit well. I am sure I will have a lot of fun in this steep learning curve.?
