This weekends’ Ultimate Cup Series race, the only six-hour race in this year’s program, will take place at the Slovakia Ring on Saturday 25 May. It will be the first time for the team’s LMP3 to race at the Slovakiaring. John Corbett (AUS) will join regular drivers Paul Scheuschner and Edward Jonasson in the LMP3 #14 for this weekend. After the races in Dijon and Estoril, the Inter Europol Competition team is in fourth place.

It will be Corbett’s first race with the team but not in the LMP3. He has been taking part this year in the ELMS, and in the past in the Michelin Le Mans Cup and in the VdeV. Prior to the VdeV, Corbett used to race in a Radical.

John Corbett:“I am happy to be with the team for this weekend. It’s nice to get to race on a track that you don’t know and to learn the specifics of it. This weekend gives me plenty of time to do this before the race.”
