It will be an exciting and a ‘keep your fingers crossed’ weekend for the Inter Europol Competition Team. The #13 LMP3 drivers Kuba Schmiechowski and Martin Hippe are fourth in the championship; only one point behind the number three (Ultimate) and 10 points behind the number two (M. Racing – YMR).

The team is extremely pleased with the progress made so far this year. Last year the team finished 10th in the team classification; the drivers in 12th position. Even if the team would finish fourth or fifth, they’d be delighted.

Michael Keese (Technical Director): “It was a tough year as we not only raced in the ELMS but also in the VdeV and in the GT&Prototype Challenge. We did more than 65.000 km with our truck. But because we did so many races we got to know the car really well and all the hard work and travelling paid of.. I think we showed our real potential this year. As everybody else we had our ups and downs but also saw that we could compete with the best of the LMP3 teams.”
