For the first race of the FIA-CEZ Championship we arrived with two drivers- Robert Siska and Kuba Śmiechowski. The weather on Hungaroring was perfect. The practice sessions went on without any problems for Robert. Kuba had some minor issues with his engine but we were able to eliminate the problem before the end of the day. We were prepared and filled with optimism as the qualifying came. Kuba managed to secure the second place and Robert eleventh. The polish driver was faster with every session so we hoped for a fight for the first place. Unfortunately he did a mistake on the start and stalled his engine. Finally he regained the second place but the leader was already too far away. Robert had a good race as well. He even improved his time from the qualifying. The line-up for the second race was the same as for the first. Kuba was on the second place when on the fifth lap the leader had to retire due to a technical failure. There was nothing left than to control the race and bring the victory home. Robert after a great start and fierce driving came eighth. We are happy about this weekend and can’t wait for the next one.
