Despite the extended delay and changes to the circuit, Clarke adapted superbly to the evolving conditions, setting a fastest lap of 1:35.124 aboard the #43 Oreca 07 Gibson.<\/p>\n<p>The result marks Clarke&#8217;s second IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship pole position, following his pole-winning performance at the Rolex 24 At Daytona in January, and places Inter Europol Competition at the front of the LMP2 field for Sunday&#8217;s six-hour race.<\/p>\n<p>The Sahlen&#8217;s Six Hours of The Glen gets underway tomorrow at 12:10 local time (18:10 CEST).<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUOTES\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jeremy Clarke<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8222;It feels like it&#8217;s been forever since I&#8217;ve been in the car, having last raced at Sebring, but I have a lot of confidence and a lot of trust in this car.
