Inter Europol Competition has written another remarkable chapter in its history, securing a historic one-two finish in the LMP2 category at the 94th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.<\/p>\n

After 24 hours of relentless competition, the #43 Oreca of Kuba \u015amiechowski, Tom Dillmann and Nick Yelloly claimed victory, while the sister #343 entry of Bijoy Garg, Reshad De Gerus and Nico M\u00fcller completed an extraordinary result in second place.<\/p>\n

Led by Team Owner Wojciech \u015amiechowski, Team Principal Kuba \u015amiechowski and Team Manager\u00a0Sascha Fassbender, the result represents a masterclass in engineering, operations, strategy and driving execution at the world’s greatest endurance race.<\/p>\n

The achievement marks the first LMP2 one-two finish in the team’s history and represents the latest chapter in one of endurance racing’s most remarkable success stories. Since 2023, Inter Europol Competition has claimed three victories, two second-place finishes and five LMP2 podium finishes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Across four consecutive editions of the race, the team has never finished outside the top two positions in the category, an extraordinary record that has established the Polish team as the benchmark in modern LMP2 competition.<\/p>\n

The victory also marks Kuba \u015amiechowski’s third LMP2 class win at Circuit de la Sarthe, further cementing his place among the most successful drivers in the history of the category.<\/p>\n

Throughout the race, both Inter Europol Competition entries demonstrated exceptional pace and remained in contention for victory. Backed by outstanding work from the team’s engineers, mechanics and strategists, the result stands as the greatest achievement in the history of the Warsaw-based organisation.<\/p>\n

More than a race victory, the result confirms Inter Europol Competition’s position as one of the defining teams of the modern LMP2 era. For the fans, it was 24 hours of unforgettable racing. For the team, it was another historic milestone achieved through preparation, determination and teamwork.<\/p>\n

„To be honest, this was one of the most difficult Le Mans races I’ve experienced in recent years. I don’t remember having so many issues during a race, but somehow this year luck was on our side and we managed to recover every time. We knew we had one of the fastest cars in the field, so once we got to the front I wasn’t surprised that we were able to build a gap. Nick and Tom did a fantastic job as always, but I feel like today was something really exceptional from everyone involved.”<\/p>\n

„Obviously, it’s been a fantastic week with Inter Europol Competition, and to top it off with a one-two finish at Le Mans, the biggest race of the year in such a competitive LMP2 category, is pretty incredible. I’m very proud to have been able to contribute to that result.<\/p>\n

From the moment I joined the team, I was welcomed with open arms and I’ve really enjoyed working with everyone. We were competitive all week and fighting at the front throughout the race.
