Inter Europol Competition returns to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2026 as defending LMP2 winners following victory in the 2025 edition with Kuba \u015amiechowski, Tom Dillmann and Nick Yelloly. The triumph marked the team’s second LMP2 victory at Circuit de la Sarthe in three years, having also secured class honours in 2023, further establishing Inter Europol Competition as one of the leading forces in endurance racing’s highly competitive LMP2 category.<\/p>\n

Now firmly established among the front-runners in international endurance racing, the team arrives at Le Mans with a two-car LMP2 Pro entry and ambitions of once again fighting at the very front of the field.<\/p>\n

As the world’s most prestigious endurance race, Le Mans demands far more than outright speed. Across 24 relentless hours, success is built on precision, teamwork, strategy and consistency. For Inter Europol Competition, the event represents the culmination of months of preparation involving every department of the organisation, from engineering and logistics to hospitality and operations.<\/p>\n

Alongside the defending-winning #43 entry, the team will also field the #343 LMP2 car featuring Bijoy Garg, Reshad De Gerus and Nico M\u00fcller, strengthening Inter Europol Competition’s presence for this year’s edition of the French endurance classic. The team will also bring a special Art Car livery to Le Mans on the #43 entry, adding another unique chapter to its growing history at the event.<\/p>\n

The #43 Art Car \u2013 A Special Le Mans Livery<\/strong><\/div>\n

Alongside its return to Le Mans as defending LMP2 winners, Inter Europol Competition will also unveil a special Art Car livery for the #43 entry. Inspired by blooming Polish rapeseed fields and the expressive style of Polish impressionist painting, the design combines motorsport with artistic storytelling while naturally reflecting the team\u2019s iconic yellow-and-green colours.<\/p>\n

Created by Polish designers and artists, the Lange brothers, the livery transforms the Oreca 07 into a moving canvas, featuring textured brush-stroke details and layered visual elements designed to stand out both on track and under the unique atmosphere of Le Mans. The concept celebrates both the team\u2019s Polish identity and the creative spirit that has long been associated with the world\u2019s greatest endurance race.<\/p>\n

From the garage to the pit wall, every department plays a vital role in delivering one of the most demanding events in world motorsport.<\/p>\n

Wojciech \u015amiechowski \u2013 Team Owner<\/strong>
\nFounder of Inter Europol Competition, Wojciech continues to drive the long-term vision and development of the team across international endurance racing.<\/p>\n

Sascha Fassbender \u2013 Team Director<\/strong>
\nOverseeing the team\u2019s overall race operation, Sascha plays a central role in coordinating Inter Europol Competition\u2019s Le Mans programme both on and off the circuit.<\/p>\n

Team Coordination & Support<\/strong><\/p>\n

While the 24 Hours of Le Mans is defined by what happens on track, the scale of Inter Europol Competition\u2019s operation behind the scenes is equally demanding. Often described as building a small city for two weeks, months of preparation go into delivering the team\u2019s Le Mans programme, from logistics and engineering to hospitality and partner activations.<\/p>\n

\u201cLe Mans is a bit like building a small city for two weeks. Everything has to work perfectly: transportation, spare parts, schedules, catering, garages and communication between departments,\u201d explains Chief Operating Officer Aleksander Jezewski.<\/p>\n

Key figures including Aleksander Jezewski and Camille Ossevoort help coordinate the vast operation both on and off the circuit, working alongside a large team across multiple departments to ensure every aspect of the event runs seamlessly throughout race week. From transportation and accommodation to garage operations and hospitality, every detail is planned well in advance to support one of the biggest events in motorsport.<\/p>\n

Located in the paddock, the two-storey unit provides a space for guests, partners and team members across the race weekend, offering live race coverage, catering and a place to experience the atmosphere of Le Mans from the heart of the circuit.<\/p>\n

While fans see 24 hours of racing, the reality is thousands of hours of preparation behind the scenes. From engineers and mechanics working late into the night to logistics teams coordinating the movement of people and equipment across the event, every member of Inter Europol Competition plays a role in delivering a successful Le Mans campaign.<\/p>\n

Meet the Drivers\u00a0\u2013 The Faces of Inter Europol Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inter Europol Competition returns to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2026 with two strong LMP2 Pro entries, combining returning race winners, experienced endurance racers and proven international talent across both cars.<\/p>\n

In the #43 entry, reigning LMP2 winners Kuba \u015amiechowski, Tom Dillmann and Nick Yelloly return to Le Mans together following their victory in 2025. The trio, who continue to compete together in the European Le Mans Series, reunite with the shared ambition of defending their Le Mans crown and adding another chapter to Inter Europol Competition\u2019s growing success at Circuit de la Sarthe.<\/p>\n

Alongside them, the #343 LMP2 car will feature Bijoy Garg, Reshad De Gerus and Nico M\u00fcller. Garg and De Gerus have already built a strong partnership together in the European Le Mans Series, while M\u00fcller joins the line-up bringing significant top-level experience as a Porsche factory driver currently competing in Formula E, as well as previous experience in Hypercar competition in the FIA World Endurance Championship.<\/p>\n

Together, the two-car line-up gives Inter Europol Competition a powerful combination of experience, speed and endurance pedigree as the team prepares to once again take on the world\u2019s greatest endurance race.<\/p>\n

Kuba Smiechowski<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nationality: Polish<\/strong><\/p>\n

A two-time Le Mans LMP2 winner, Kuba \u015amiechowski has been at the heart of Inter Europol Competition’s rise through international endurance racing. Alongside his role as Team Principal, \u015amiechowski has enjoyed success across the European Le Mans Series, FIA World Endurance Championship, Asian Le Mans Series and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Returning as part of the defending-winning #43 line-up, he will be aiming to add a third Le Mans class victory to his already impressive racing record.<\/p>\n

Tom Dillmann<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nationality: French<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the most experienced drivers in the LMP2 field, Tom Dillmann has built a successful career across both single-seater and endurance racing competition. A key member of Inter Europol Competition’s prototype programme, the Frenchman competes with the team across the European Le Mans Series and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, playing an important role in the team’s success on both sides of the Atlantic. Dillmann was also part of Inter Europol Competition’s victorious LMP2 line-up at the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans. His experience, consistency and technical understanding continue to make him an invaluable asset to the team’s prototype programme.<\/p>\n

Nick Yelloly<\/strong><\/div>\n

Nationality: British<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nick Yelloly returns to Le Mans following Inter Europol Competition’s LMP2 victory in 2025. The British driver has built an impressive career across both prototype and GT competition. Alongside his Le Mans campaign, he competes full-time with Inter Europol Competition in the European Le Mans Series and is also an Acura factory driver in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, racing in the GTP category. He additionally serves as a Simulator and Development Driver for the Aston Martin Formula One Team. Known for his speed, racecraft and technical feedback, Yelloly remains a key part of Inter Europol Competition’s ambitions as they look to defend their Le Mans crown.<\/p>\n

Reshad de Gerus<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nationality: French<\/strong><\/p>\n

French driver Reshad de Gerus returns to the 24 Hours of Le Mans as part of Inter Europol Competition\u2019s #343 entry. Widely regarded as one of the strongest young talents in LMP2 competition, De Gerus has built a strong record at Circuit de la Sarthe in recent years, securing a third-place finish in the category in 2024 before following it up with fourth place in 2025. Competing on home soil, he will be looking to build on those results and continue his impressive Le Mans record.<\/p>\n

Bijoy Garg<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nationality: American<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bijoy Garg returns to the 24 Hours of Le Mans as part of Inter Europol Competition\u2019s #343 entry, continuing a busy season with the team across both the European Le Mans Series and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. As one of the leading Silver-rated drivers in LMP2 competition, Garg has established himself as a key part of Inter Europol Competition\u2019s prototype programme. Having secured victory in the LMP2 category at Le Mans in 2024, he arrives at Circuit de la Sarthe with proven success and will be aiming to challenge for another strong result.<\/p>\n

Nico M<\/strong>\u00fcller<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nationality: Swiss<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nico M\u00fcller joins Inter Europol Competition for the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans. A Porsche factory driver currently competing in Formula E, M\u00fcller has established himself as one of the most versatile drivers in international motorsport, with experience spanning Formula E, the FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar category and some of the world’s biggest endurance races. The Swiss driver brings a wealth of top-level experience to Inter Europol Competition’s LMP2 programme as the team prepares for another challenge at Circuit de la Sarthe.<\/p>\n

Michelin Le Mans Cup \u2013 The Road to Le Mans<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inter Europol Competition’s Le Mans programme extends beyond the 24-hour race itself, with the team also fielding two entries in Road to Le Mans, the support event held on the full Circuit de la Sarthe.Competing in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, the team will field the #34 entry for Alex\u00a0Bukhantsov and Shawn Rashid, alongside the #43 car driven by William Karlsson and Christian Dannemand J\u00f8rgensen.Held as part of the official Le Mans race week, Road to Le Mans provides drivers with the opportunity to compete on one of motorsport’s most iconic circuits in front of thousands of fans. Alex Bukhantsov\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

As one of the leading Bronze-rated drivers in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, Alex Bukhantsov has established himself as a strong competitor across Inter Europol Competition’s endurance racing programmes. Alongside his Michelin Le Mans Cup campaign, Bukhantsov also competes in the European Le Mans Series and previously raced with the team in the Asian Le Mans Series. Having secured consecutive pole positions at the opening rounds of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup season, he arrives at Le Mans looking to continue that strong form.<\/div>\n

Now competing in a full season of prototype racing, he continues to expand his experience in endurance competition as part of Inter Europol Competition’s LMP3 programme.<\/div>\n

Christian Dannemand J\u00f8rgensen<\/p>\n

Nationality: Danish<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christian Dannemand J\u00f8rgensen continues his development in endurance racing with Inter Europol Competition’s Michelin Le Mans Cup programme. The Danish driver progressed through karting, including appearances in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy, before moving into touring car competition where he secured multiple podium finishes in the Danish Super 2L Championship and competed in Super GT Denmark. Road to Le Mans represents another important milestone as he continues to establish himself in international sportscar racing.<\/p>\n

William Karlsson<\/p>\n

Nationality: Swedish<\/strong><\/p>\n

William Karlsson returns to Road to Le Mans with Inter Europol Competition after making his debut at the event with the team in 2025. Following a successful transition from single-seater racing, including campaigns in Formula Nordic, Italian F4 and Eurocup-3, Karlsson is now competing in a full Michelin Le Mans Cup programme in 2026. Returning to Circuit de la Sarthe for a second consecutive year, the Swedish driver will be aiming to continue his progress in LMP3 competition.<\/p>\n

History of Inter Europol Competition at Le Mans<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inter Europol Competition has established itself as one of the leading teams in the LMP2 category at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Since making its debut at the legendary French endurance race in 2019, the team has built an impressive record at Circuit de la Sarthe, including two LMP2 victories and three podium finishes across the last three editions of the event.<\/p>\n

Event Timetable<\/strong><\/p>\n

Preparations for the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans begin well before the race itself, with Inter Europol Competition\u2019s garage and hospitality build commencing from the beginning of June ahead of two intense weeks at Circuit de la Sarthe.<\/p>\n

Official activities begin on Friday 5 June with Scrutineering in Le Mans city centre, before on-track action gets underway with the official test day on Sunday 7 June. The 94th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will begin at 16:00 on Saturday 13 June.<\/p>\n
