Inter Europol Competition’s #43 LMP2 entry returns to the European Le Mans Series for 2026 with an unchanged driver lineup following an outstanding campaign last season. The trio of Nick Yelloly, Tom Dillmann, and Kuba Smiechowski delivered one of the strongest performances in the championship, highlighted by victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and a second-place finish in the ELMS Championship.

Nick Yelloly brings extensive endurance racing experience and a proven race-winning pedigree at the highest level of prototype competition. His pace, consistency, and ability to perform under pressure have made him a key contributor to the team’s successes. Tom Dillmann continues with Inter Europol Competition after another highly successful season, developed through competition in ELMS, IMSA, and at Le Mans with the team. Completing the lineup is Silver-rated Kuba Smiechowski, the backbone of the team and whose contributions were instrumental in securing the team’s standout results last season.

With all three drivers returning, the #43 entry benefits from an established working relationship and a shared understanding of the demands of the European Le Mans Series calendar.

Inter Europol Competition’s #34 LMP2 entry for the 2026 European Le Mans Series will feature Bijoy Garg and Tom Blomqvist, with the team continuing to evaluate options to complete the lineup and ensure the strongest possible trio for the season ahead.

Bijoy Garg adds the ELMS programme to his already extensive calendar with Inter Europol, continuing his established career within prototype racing and further strengthening his role within the team’s international programme.

Joining Bijoy is Tom Blomqvist, who brings an exceptional endurance racing resume and a strong track record in IMSA. A two-time winner of the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship title holder, Blomqvist has consistently demonstrated front-running pace and race-winning capability at the highest level of prototype racing. His experience across IMSA, WEC, and global endurance racing adds significant depth to the #34 entry as Inter Europol Competition finalises the remainder of the lineup.

With the final driver still to be confirmed, further details regarding the completed lineup will be announced in due course.

Car #13 – LMP3
Jimmy Chou, Henry Cubides Olarte, Alex Bukhantsov

Inter Europol Competition’s #13 LMP3 entry continues with the same driver lineup currently competing in the Asian Le Mans Series, bringing continuity and experience into the European Le Mans Series campaign.

Henry Cubides Olarte steps into the ELMS programme following a 2025 season in the Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3 category, as he continues to build his prototype racing experience across international championships. Alex Bukhantsov returns to ELMS competition with Inter Europol Competition after previously racing with the team in both the European Le Mans Series and Road to Le Mans. A former Asian Le Mans Series LMP3 champion, he adds proven race-winning pedigree and familiarity with the team’s LMP3 programme.

Jimmy Chou completes the lineup after gaining valuable endurance racing experience in prototype machinery, most recently competing in the Ultimate Cup Series European Endurance Prototype Cup. With experience across prototype and Radical competition, he continues his progression as part of Inter Europol Competition’s LMP3 team.

With an established working relationship and familiarity with both the team and the car, the #13 lineup enters the ELMS season with a strong foundation, aiming to build on the experience gained together and continue their progression throughout the championship.

QUOTES

Sascha Fassbender

“For the 2026 season, we have very strong line-ups across all of our cars, with a great mix of young talent and experienced, established drivers.

In car #13, we retain the same line-up. Alex returns to the team as a highly experienced Bronze driver after spending a year away from ACO championships, and alongside Henry and Jimmy we have two young rockets who are already building strong momentum in the Asian Le Mans Series. They will be very competitive in the 2026 ELMS season, with the goal of fighting for the championship.

Car #43 remains unchanged, with Tom, Nick and Kuba having proven how strong they are together. The objective is to defend the Le Mans title and finally secure the ELMS championship after finishing second for the past two seasons.

In car #34, we have Bijoy, a driver fully committed to the team across ELMS, IMSA and Asian Le Mans. His progression highlights Inter Europol Competition’s ability to develop young drivers into true professionals. He will be joined by Tom, who has demonstrated his strength and consistency across every track and prototype he has driven so far. The third driver will be announced in due course.

I believe both LMP2 cars will be able to fight for the championship, and of course the aim is to finish the season on a high at Portimão in October.”
