Hungry for more

9 June 2021

After finishing 5th in their first race in the World Endurance Championship at Spa, the Inter Europol Competition team is hungry for more. For the 8 Hours of Portimao on the 13th of June, Louis Delétraz joins Kuba Smiechowski and Alex Brundle as Renger van der Zande is racing in the IMSA championship in Detroit.

Louis Delétraz: ““I’m looking forward to joining the team. After their positive start at Spa, I’m sure we can do well this weekend. The weather looks great and warm. It will a be long race where we need to make no mistakes.”

Kuba Smiechowski: “I am very excited about the race in Portimao. I think we finished very well in Spa and I hope to be even better here. Portimao is a difficult track, and as always, the weather plays an important part. But also, the tire management could be a key factor this weekend.”

Alex Brundle: “I am confident in both my teammates and the team to deliver a great result. But we have to get on with it and nail the set-up of the car in the free practice sessions to make sure we have the best car for the race. I do enjoy racing the Portimao track.”
