Adrien Tambay:“I am very glad and happy to be given the opportunity to race for the first time in LMP2 for Inter Europol Competition car. It’s a very exciting new challenge for me given the fact that I haven’t raced such a quick and great car for quite a while but I am confident that doing so in Barcelona, a track that I know well and where I have won in different series, will help me get up to speed very quickly on the day of testing. I am looking forward to be pushing hard with the whole team towards a good result, I am pretty sure that we can do well and I can’t wait to start working together with Dani and Kuba.I love this kind of challenge where skills and adaptation are keys to success, and I am ready for it.Thanks to the whole team for their trust and the opportunity.”
Sascha Fassbender(team manager): “We are very happy to welcome Adrien to our team. We were already in contact for this year’s ELMS season and are happy that we can now realize it for Barcelona. Adrien has proven his speed in many top racing series. Despite his young age, he has a great deal of experience and can support Kuba and Dani. Of course, we also hope that Leo will be with our team again soon and we wish him a speedy road to further recovery.”
